How does the new FI service affect Service Providers?

Many service providers are already familiar at some level with financial intermediary services, if not through MOIRA, then through the Department of Human Services or another financial intermediary service.
Naturally, there will be some differences in the new and improved approach. MOIRA is conscious of the need to ensure that Service Providers are paid promptly for the services that have been delivered. We are also aware that some Regions have been operating a very different model of service which has not included authorisation of invoices by the individual. The Department of Human Services and MOIRA will be helping Disability Service Providers to understand the requirements of the new system.
